A stored process with a pre-assigned DBMS library might fail if the METAAUTOINIT parameter is not assigned. The failure generates the following error message:

ERROR: Libref is not assigned.

When you run the SAS® Stored Process Server with the pre-assigned database management system (DBMS) library, you need to make sure you assign the METAAUTOINIT parameter, as follows:

• Open SAS® Management Console and select Server Manager Plug-in.
• Expand the application server (SASMain).
• Select Stored Process Server.
• Right-click Properties to open the Properties dialog box.
• Select the Options tab.
• In the Launch Commands section, enter METAAUTOINIT in the Object Server Parameter field.
• Click OK.
