Usage Note 16825: Importing banner images for use in SAS® Web Report Studio
SAS Web Report Studio does not automatically install images for use in report banners. Here are the instructions for importing images.
Import an Image
- Launch SAS Management Console as an unrestricted user (typically, sasadm).
- Click the Folders tab and navigate to SAS Folders ► System ► Applications ►SAS Web Report Studio ► Common ► BannerImages.
- Right-click BannerImages and select Add Content From External Files or Directories.
- Use the Choose Source Files or Directories dialog box to select the image file that you want to use. Make sure that the Files of type field is set to SAS report image, (*.png,*gif,*.jpg,*.jpeg,*bmp).
- If you selected one image, then enter a description that will be used when you select the image in SAS Web Report Studio.
- In order for the images to be available immediately, you must restart your SAS® Web Application server.
About Importing Folders
Here are tips for importing folders that contain multiple images:
- All files in the folder are added regardless of their type.
- The description that you enter is used for all files in that folder.
