Usage Note 16587: Exporting SAS® data sets of more than 65,536 rows to Microsoft Excel

Programs for both SAS®9 and SAS® 8 are now available that enable you to export SAS data sets that are larger than 65,536 rows to multiple Excel sheets in a single workbook. These programs also enable you to export a certain number of records to each sheet.
Select the Downloads tab to download the following programs:
- datasplitter2excel2.sas (for SAS®9)
- datasplitter2excelv8.sas (for SAS® 8)
Note: You must run the SAS 8 program interactively, or at least with a controlling terminal, because it launches Excel during its process.
