Usage Note 16506: XML Libname may fail with ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name, when the
xml-document-path is entered in the Options window
XML LIBNAME can be defined using the Generic Template in the SAS
Management Console.
The following error may occur when an XML LIBNAME xml-document-path
attribute is defined in the Options window.
ERROR 22-7: Invalid option name
The xml-document-path must be specifed in the Generic template path
window, not in the Options window. Any other options will be defined
in the Options window.
The error will be seen when the incorrectly defined LIBNAME is accessed
with the Meta Libname Engine (MLE), PROC METALIB or as a Pre-Assigned
Library.
Pre-Assigned libraries are assigned either thru the Object Server
Parameter, MetaAutoInit or the SAS System Option, -MetaAutoResources.
