Problem Note 16351: Match-merge produces incorrect results on AIX when DESCENDING option is specified on BY

Incorrect results may occur when performing a MERGE on the AIX host when the DESCENDING keyword is specified on the BY statement. Observations are incorrectly appended rather than merged.
The NOCODEGEN option can be specified as a circumvention or the data can be merged in ASCENDING order.
