Usage Note 16315: "chkPluginLics(): There are insufficient licenses for
lsf_sched_parallel, it will be disabled for the whole cluster" when
running LSF Scheduler
When you run the LSF Scheduler,the following error messages might appear
in the Logfile of the LIM service and in the Event Viewer, if the LSF
Scheduler is the OEM version provided by SAS:
chkPluginLics(): There are insufficient licenses for
lsf_sched_parallel, it will be disabled for the whole cluster.
markLics(): There are insufficient licenses for
LSF_License_Maximizer, it will be disabled for the whole cluster.
Platform Computing created a special OEM version of its software that
works with a license file that is supplied by SAS (SAS Installation
Date). When the LSF Scheduler software runs with a SAS-supplied license
file, a few features that might be disabled. The messages tell you
that you do not have the lsf_sched_parallel or the LSF_License_Maximizer
features.
These messages can be ignored when you run the OEM version of the LSF
Scheduler provided by SAS.
