Problem Note 16001: Preferences web application in the Information Delivery Portal may show
a mix of English and non-English language
A mixture of English and non-English characters may appear in the
Preferences web application in the Information Delivery Portal. This
problem will occur if the following are true:
- The 'Default locale' is set to 'Browser Default'.
- Internet Explorer (IE) has no languages set in it's Language
Preferences.
- Tomcat and Remote Services are running in a non-English language.
To correct the problem, clear out the incorrect preference by going to
Preferences, selecting Language, selecting the 'Restore Defaults'
button, and selecting the 'Cancel' button.
