Problem Note 15469: Error: Access Denied using LDAP as the authentication provider

The following error may be encountered in the SAS® Metadata Server log file when using LDAP as the authentication provider.

Error: Access Denied.
New client connection (10) rejected from server port 8561 for user user@domain.

This problem has been encountered when the LDAP server was not configured to support anonymous binds.

To circumvent the problem, configure the LDAP server to support anonymous binds or login using the fully qualified DN (distinguished name).
