After applying SP2 updates to SAS® Management Console, jobs may appear to be missing from flows that had previously been created in the Schedule Manager plugin.
The basic problem is that with SP2, Management Console started to detect more metadata errors and, when it could, to correct the problem. A disassociation exists between metadata objects for the job. So far this has been seen to occur when the metadata is promoted.
A new jar file is available from Technical Support that will make the metadata objects visible in Managment Console, and marked by a red X to indicate the problem with underlying metadata.
An error message dialog will also be displayed:
Metadata Error The deployed job ("jobname") does not have a Job object associated to it. Please contact SAS Technical Support for assistance.
