Some function keys may be blank in the BUILD.KEYS entry while you are editing SAS/AF PROGRAM and SCL entries within SAS 9 on the mainframe.

To circumvent this problem, save your own copy of BUILD.KEYS in your SASUSER.PROFILE catalog. To do this, edit a PROGRAM or SCL entry and issue the KEYS command to be taken to the Keys window. Type the values of commands that you would like to execute from each function key. Issue the END command to save your settings and close the Keys window. Your changes are now saved in the BUILD.KEYS entry in the SASUSER.PROFILE catalog and these values will be used instead of the default values.
