During PROC OLAP execution, if the NWAY aggregations are built but the NWAY indexes fail, an undocumented option, ADDNWAYINDEX may be used to create the appropriate indexes. The syntax for this option is as follows:

proc olap fact/data=<input table>
             cube=<cube name>
             <...additional-options...>
             ADDNWAYINDEX;
      metasvr <...options...>
   run;

Prior to Service Pack 3, if NWAY indexing failed, the NWAY aggregations would be deleted. This is no longer the case.
