Problem Note 15222: Changes in the Default ACT may not be saved
Changing between the General Tab, the Users and Permissions tab, or the
Authorization tab of the Default ACT may result in changes not being
saved.
The following example illustrates the problem.
- Open SAS® Management Console and log on as the unrestricted
user: sasadm
- Expand the Authorization Manager plug-in
- Expand Access Control Templates
- Right click on "Default ACT" and select "Properties"
- Select the "Users and Permissions" tab
- Add a user or group or change a permission
- Select the "Authorization" tab
- Select OK to exit
- Go back into the "Default ACT" properties and the new user or
group is missing.
To circumvent the problem, select OK before changing tabs in the
Authorization Manager plug-in.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
