Problem Note 15001: Parameters cause errors in stored processes when using the Add-in for
Microsoft Office on non-U.S. locales
If you run Excel on a machine with the Multilingual User Interface
Pack installed, Excel might not be able to run stored processes that use
decimal value parameters. If you run a stored process that displays
decimal parameter choices, they are not displayed with a comma but with
the standard decimal point. For example, if your regional setting is
set to French, decimal values entered into Excel are separated with a
comma: 4,5 for 4.5. If you attempt to run the stored process, an
error message appears that indicates that the float value is invalid.
