Problem Note 15849: Syntax error at drilldown or expand in cubes with long unique member names
Client applications which use the SAS OLAP Data Provider 9.1 may
encounter syntax errors when navigating a cube. This will occur when
member captions exceed 256 characters. The OLAP clients that exhibit
this behavior include:
SAS Enterprise Guide
SAS Web OLAP Viewer for .NET
PROC SQL
Third-Party applications such as Microsoft Excel
To avoid this problem, make sure that the values or formatted values of
your input data do not exceed the 256 character limit.
