when running MVS using SAS 9
A stray character may appear in the code generated by an autocall macro
when running in SAS® 9 on the mainframe.
The stray character can appear anywhere in the generated code and will
often cause unexpected syntax errors. Autocall macros that executed
without errors in SAS 8 can be affected by this problem in SAS 9.
