Usage Note 15812: "Setup could not find file on specified path or disk" when installing
SAS 9 from CDs
When you are installing SAS 9 from CDs, the following error message
might appear:
Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk.
Try any of the following:
* Make sure that you have the correct CD.
* Make sure that you have the CD in the CD-ROM drive.
* Remove and reinsert the CD.
* Click on the drive in Explorer while it is empty.
* Point the installer to another directory then back to the CD-ROM
drive.
* Make sure that the path exists.
* Verify with SAS Technical Support that the CD is labeled correctly
and that it has the correct directory structure and files.
