Problem Note 15699: Unable to insert byte(0) character into a MySQL table with the
SAS/ACCESS Interface to MySQL
Currently, you cannot insert a byte(0) field into a MySQL table with the
SAS/ACCESS Interface to MySQL when using the LIBNAME method and implicit
passthru. You will receive the error:
ERROR: Execute error: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the
manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right
syntax to use near ''' at line 1
The error is caused by an incomplete INSERT statement which is passed to
the database by the interface.
