Usage Note 15056: New parameter added to SASTRACE debugging option for SAS/ACCESS
Interface to ODBC
In SAS 9.1 and beyond, a new value has been added to the SASTRACE
debugging option for SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC to allow the interface
to generate odbc-type traces. This new value is SASTRACE='d'. You can
set the option as follows:
options sastrace='d' sastraceloc=saslog nostsuffix;
The SASTRACELOC= gives the location of where to write the trace. The
NOSTSUFFIX option removes the trailer information attached to each line
of the trace.
For example, the following OPTIONS statement will generate an ODBC-type
trace and will write it to the location specified by the SASTRACELOC
option:
options sastrace='d,,d,d' sastraceloc=FILE '/tmp/odbc_trace.log'
nostsuffix;
