Problem Note 14997: "Error: cast type not correct" when opening a server with the Add-In
for MS Office
If your Workspace Server is defined to have a name that contains dots,
semicolons, slashes, or other non-alphanumeric characters, the SAS
Add-In for Microsoft Office cannot to open SAS data and an error message
appears:
Cast Type not Correct
An example of an inappropriate name is as follows:
sas12.na.sas.com
