Usage Note 14985: Troubleshooting steps for installing SAS® 9.1.3 Service Packs
If you have problems with the installation of SAS® Service Packs on the
Windows platform, perform the following steps:
a. Select Start > Run, select Browse, and change to the SAS®
installation directory (the default location is
C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS 9.1).
b. Highlight sas.exe, and select Open.
The directory path and the sas.exe appear in the Open field of the
Run dialog box.
c. At the end of the line add /regserver, for example:
"C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS 9.1\sas.exe" /regserver
d. Select OK.
e. If an error appears, run the 91regbld program using the link
provided below:
http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/pc/
Reference the following SAS note for additional information on
the 91regbld program:

f. If no errors appear, reinstall the SAS Service Pack.
