Usage Note 14739: Possible performance issue when getting a list of DB2 tables using the DB2 engine

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
Changes were made to the query that is submitted when the list of DB2
tables is needed based on the action of the user. This includes
selecting the library from the DISPLAY Manager, doing a PROC CONTENTS
DATA-LIBREF._all_ or a PROC DATASETS. Doing one of this actions will
take longer in SAS System 9 than it did previously. This new query may
cause a decrease in performance for your site when the CPU used in
Version 8 is compared to what is now used in SAS System 9.
