Usage Note 14608: SAS Human Capital Management users are forced to change password after
first login
In SAS Human Capital Management 3.1 (HCM, HRV, HR Vision), the first
time a user logs in, they are presented with a dialog asking them to
change their administration specified password.
With the release of 3.1.0.5, sites are able to remove this dialog and no
longer prompt the user to change their initial password. The option,
force.password.change="NO" can be added to the HRVision.cfg file within
the Config folder. Valid values are "NO", "N", or "OFF" to remove the
dialog. Any other value, including the absence of the option, will
maintain the presentation of the dialog on the user's first login.
