Problem Note 14454: "The JVM option is invalid: -XX+UseConcMarkSweepGC. Could not create
the Java Virtual Machine"
When attempting to run the RemovePortalMetadata.bat file to remove the
Information Delivery Portal Metadata from the Metadata Server, the
following error may occur:
The JVM option is invalid: -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
Could not create the Java virtual machine.
This error will occur when using IBM's JDK on a Windows Platform.
The work around is to remove the
-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC
JAVA command line option from RemovePortalMetadata.bat.
