Problem Note 14144: Memory Leak in XMS Access Method

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
A SAS System 9 Share server may abend while creating a dataset with an
index.

The following message may appear in the JES2 Job Log:

   LSCX041 **** ERROR ****
ABEND occurred in SELECB called from MAIN(VSOCKET),offset 001042
Program terminated by operating system. ABEND code = U2097

Additionally, the Share Server SAS Log may contain these messages:

ERROR: Attempt to communicate with server SASSRV2 rejected by server.
ERROR: The connection to server SASSRV2 has been lost.
          The current request failed.
This error may reoccur on subsequent requests.
ERROR: A communication subsystem partner conversation setup request
          failure has occurred.
ERROR: Communication Subsystem Request Failure: Supporting
          communication link has been severed.

There is a memory leak in the Cross Memory Services (XMS) access method
that appears to be approximately 1M of memory after roughly 1600 XMS
connects/disconnects to a SAS/SHARE server.
