Problem Note 14050: Errors might occur when building an information map from SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server® data

The following error might occur when attempting to build an information map from SPD Server data using SAS® Information Map Studio:

Error: File SPDTEMP.xx.DATA does not exist.

To correct the problem, the LIBGEN option must be set for the library. To set the LIBGEN option, follow these steps:

  1. Launch SAS® Management Console.
  2. Expand the Data Library Manager.
  3. Right-click on the SPDS library and select Properties.
  4. Click the Options tab.
  5. Click the Advanced Options button.
  6. Click the Server Connection Information tab and set the LIBGEN option to YES.
