The VERBOSE option causes the EMAILSYS option value to become corrupted. The EMAILSYS value will incorrectly be reset to "3". The below SAS invocation command causes -EMAILSYS to be set to "3" (rather than "smtp"). > sas -emailsys smtp -verbose The below SAS invocation command (without -VERBOSE) works fine. > sas -emailsys smtp You can avoid this problem by not using the VERBOSE option when specifying the EMAILSYS option.
