Usage Note 14626: Error messages related to OLAP Cube permissions

DetailsAboutRate It
Any of the following errors might indicate that the READ permission has
not been assigned for an OLAP cube:

Invalid cube. No dimensions found in this cube.
No data fields are available in the OLAP Cube.
   No permissions to access cube.
The cube has too few dimensions.

If any of the above errors are received, you will need to confirm that
both the READ and READ METADATA permissions have been granted to the
user ID for the OLAP cube in question.

You can access the cube level permissions by navigating through the SAS
Management Console's Authorization Manager. Expand Authorization Manager
-> Resource Management -> By Location. At this point, you can set the
permissions at either the application server (denoted by the blue disk),
the OLAP Schema, or the individual cube. Each item will inherit the
permissions from the level above with the application server inheriting
the permissions from the Default ACT.
