Usage Note 14500: Installation of Service Pack 1 rebuilds but does not deploy the SAS Web
Applications
The final step of the installation of Service Pack 1 for SAS 9.1.3
rebuilds the .war files for the SAS Web Applications, but does not
deploy them to the servlet container (Tomcat).
The process to deploy the web applications is as follows:
First, shut down Tomcat and the SAS Services Application. Second,
delete the following files and directories:
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\Portal
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASDoc
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASPreferences
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASStoredProcess
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASTheme_default
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASWebReportStudio
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASWebReportViewer
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\sasweb
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\Portal.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASDoc.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASPreferences.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASStoredProcess.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASTheme_default.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASWebReportStudio.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\SASWebReportViewer.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps\sasweb.war
C:\Tomcat4.1\work\Standalone
Then, copy the .war files from:
C:\SAS\<plan>\Lev1\web\webapps
to
C:\Tomcat4.1\webapps.
Finally, in the SAS Management Console, delete and reimport the services
listed in Foundation Service Manager.
Restart the SAS Services Application, Once it is running restart Tomcat.
