Usage Note 14377: ERROR: SPDS Server has rejected login from user
If you are unable to connect to an SPD Server executing
on a remote machine, you may see the following messages
in the SAS log:
ERROR: Error on server libname socket.
ERROR: SPDS server has rejected login from user <username>.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
This indicates that this userid is only able to connect
to this SPD Server from a specific IP address other than
the one currently being used.
Contact your SPD Server administrator to update the userid
to allow universal access. The only way to do this is to
remove the userid from the server and add it back without
associating an IP address with the userid.
