Usage Note 14212: Import tables fails in SAS Management Console using unrestricted user
Importing tables into a new SAS Library in SAS Management Console may
fail. This problem has been encountered when the user logged into the
console was the unrestricted user. An unrestricted user cannot access
other servers by retrieving logins from the metadata server.
Errors such as the following may be encountered using the unrestricted
userid to import tables into a new SAS Library.
New client connection (11) accepted from server port 8561 for user
sasadmin@DOMAIN.
Encryption level is Credentials using encryption algorithm
sasproprietary.
Peer IP address and port are 111.111.11.1:9999.
SASADMIN@DOMAIN: DoRequest return code=807fd87b....
SASADMIN@DOMAIN: Unexpected or unmatched end of element tag
Client connection (11) closed. GetMetadata return code=807fe839....
SASADMIN@DOMAIN: The object or objects are not found in the container
TMP000.person.DATA.
Or:
Attempted connection to Application Server failed. Verify that the
server is running. Error authenticating
user sassrv in function LogonUser. Error 1326(Logon failure:
unknown user name or bad password)
