Problem Note 13885: VM1319 or S0C4 occurs when esoteric unit=DISK is specified
VM1319 and S0C4 abends can occur when the esoteric unit=DISK is not a
valid value.
The problem occurs with the internal assignment requests from graphics
drivers which specify an explicit DISK device type. The DISK
specification is passed to the dynamic allocation function of z/OS (SVC
99). This can also occur for a FILENAME statement in the form of:
FILENAME fileref DISK 'my.file' DISP=NEW;
The situations work correctly if a DISK value is a valid esoteric unit,
but will fail during allocation if you have not defined DISK as an
esoteric unit.
