Problem Note 13744: Marketing Automation metadata not generated correctly when data
element name includes a space or special character
Under the following circumstances, SAS Marketing Automation metadata may
not be generated correctly when using the MA plugin for the SAS
Management Console.
- The MA information map includes a data item that has an ID with one or
more space characters, or contains special characters such as a period
or a comma. For example: "FOR MONEY MARKET" or Reference.Number.
- The data item contains a space or a special character since in
Information Map Studio, the label of the data element (e.g. SAS dataset
variable) that has been mapped also includes a space or special
character.
Possible workarounds include:
1. Ensure that if the data elements have labels, that the names do not
include spaces or special characters.
2. Specify NoMetadata=True as an extended attribute in the information
map for any data items that have an ID that includes one or more space
or special characters.
