Problem Note 13630: Memory leak when running PROC SUMMARY or PROC MEANS in SAS 9.1 on Z/OS
A memory leak in SAS 9.1 can cause PROC SUMMARY or PROC MEANS processing
to terminate prematurely due to a memory shortage. The amount of memory
will increase steadily until all available memory is exhausted.
This problem can occur when running PROC SUMMARY or PROC MEANS in or
outside of a server environment like SAS/IntrNet APPSERVER. If running
in a server environment it causes the server to abend with insufficient
memory and the server needs to be restarted.
