Problem Note 13562: SAS® tables compressed as CHAR cannot be copied to SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server

If a SAS® table is compressed as type CHAR, and you attempt to use PROC COPY to copy the table to a SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server® table, one of the following errors occurs:
ERROR: Parameter value is invalid for operation. ERROR: Load of external converter shared library failed.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this Note to access the hot fix for
this problem.
This problem is also fixed at SAS Scalable Performance Data Server
version 4.4m13.
Note: In addition,
SAS tables compressed as
BINARY cannot be copied to SAS Scalable Performance Data Server.
Use the SPDSDCMP macro (%let SPDSDCMP=YES;) or the NOCLONE option
to copy these tables.
