In SAS 9, OLAP users have to manually add calculated members to a cube
by submitting PROC OLAP code with the DEFINE statement. To do this, you
must know specifics about the MDX (Multidimensional Expression) Language
and submit the PROC OLAP code within a SAS session outside of OLAP Cube
Studio.

To provide a more robust point-and-click interface for defining
caculated members, a plug-in to OLAP Cube Studio will soon be available
in a 9.1.3 service pack. This will place a Calculated Members icon
under the list of available Tools in the left-hand column of the OLAP
Cube Studio Interface.
