Problem Note 13532: Performance degradation when using COMPRESS=BINARY option
Beginning in SAS 9.1.3 there is a performance degradation when using
OPTIONS COMPRESS=BINARY. The performance degradation affects any DATA
or PROC step which is executed after specifying COMPRESS=BINARY.
The problem is fixed in SAS 9.2.
