Problem Note 13168: PROC DQSCHEME generating incorrect results in the analysis data set

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
When generating an analysis data set via PROC DQSCHEME, certain match
definitions will produce incorrect values in variables within the
analysis data set.

Although it is possible for PROC DQSCHEME to terminate, typically the
variables are instead overwritten by the underlying match codes. The
codes are not usually surfaced in PROC DQSCHEME. Please note that the
input and output data sets to PROC DQSCHEME are not affected.

This is only experienced when using match definitions that generate a
match code greater than 15 characters in length. ENUSA does not
currently contain any standard match definitions that will incur this
problem.

Currently, the only released match definition that illustrates this is
the Organization match definition in the FRFRA locale in QKB2004A and
beyond. It also appears in the Phone match definition in the PLPOL
locale in QKB2004C, which is currently under development.

Also note that match definitions which are susceptible to this problem
could be added to new versions of the QKB by DataFlux at any time, or
they could be created on site with dfPower Customize.
