Problem Note 13039: Error when remote PGMLIB is blank in the IT Resource Management client
When an attempt is made to try to establish a connection to a remote
host using one of the IT Resource Management remote profiles, it is
possible to generate the following error and warning messages in the
SAS Log:
ERROR: Attempt to %GLOBAL a name (REMROOT) which exists in
a local environment.
WARNING: Remote server PGMLIB is unavailable. Recheck settings of
remote profile.
To circumvent these error and warning messages, specify a valid PGMLIB
library under the libraries tab of the remote profile being used.
Defining REMROOT using a %GLOBAL statement before initializing IT
Resource
Management with %CPSTART (i.e. using an AUTOEXEC) will also circumvent
this problem.
