Problem Note 13964: PROC OLAP with DEFINE Statement in SAS Enterprise Guide may cause error
When DEFINE statements are used, the workspace server running PROC OLAP
will create a temporary OLAP Server instance to verify the MDX syntax.
If the workspace server is running in a location where it does not have
write access, the server will return an error:
ERROR: The immediate MDX execution failed
Unable to create a temporary directory for utility files
An SPDE domain cannot be assigned
An MDX syntax error occured
SAS Note #013213 documents a workaround for SAS Enterprise Guide
users.
