Problem Note 13948: LIBNAME with Excel engine returns "ERROR: Connect: The Microsoft Jet
database engine cannot open the file ' '."
After issuing a LIBNAME statement containing the Excel engine statement
to an Excel file, the following error may be returned:
libname foo 'k:\sasszo\v9class.xls';
ERROR: Connect: The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the
file ''. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you
need permission to view its data.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
This will occur when another user has issued a Excel LIBNAME statement
to the same Excel file. The init setting of share_deny_none does not
apply when accessing Excel via the MS Jet from SAS.
Multiple LIBNAME statements using the MS Access engine to access the
same MS Access database file will not return any errors. The init
setting share_deny_none does apply to MS Access successfully.
