Problem Note 13450: Additional SASĀ® functions might be passed to DB2
Starting in SAS® 9.2, the following additional functions might now be passed to DB2 for processing:
- DATEPART
- INDEX
- LEFT
- MINUTE
- QTR
- REPEAT
- RIGHT
- SECOND
- SIGN
- STRIP
- SUBSTR
- TRANSLATE
- TRANWRD
- TRIMN
- TRANSLATE
- TRANWRD
- TRIMN
- TODAY
- TRUNC
- WEEKDAY
In addition, when the LIBNAME statement contains the SQL_FUNCTIONS=ALL option, then four
additional functions are passed, even though they do not return the same
results as SAS.
- DATEPART
- LENGTH
- TIMEPART
- TODAY
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
This fix should enable these functions to be passed in SAS 9.1.3.
