Usage Note 13327: Double-clicking on .sas file sets current folder to winnt\system32 when
invoking SAS
When you double-click on a .sas file, Microsoft's OLE Automation is used
to open the file. Based on a code change from Microsoft introduced in
Windows NT and continuing on with Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the
default working directory when using the registered actions of .sas
files with OLE Automation is winnt\system32. There is no option that
can override this limitation of Windows.
As a workaround, use the -SASINITIALFOLDER option in your SAS
configuration file to set the current working directory when opening
SAS.
