Problem Note 13297: SAS stops responding if you press Ctrl+Alt+Break to end the SAS Session while the Filename dialog box is open
When the Log window becomes full, a Log Window Full dialog box asks
what you want to do. The first option is F to file, and the check box to the left shows that it is the default action. If you click the
OK button, a Filename dialog box appears and asks you to Enter file name ===>. Type in a filename and location to save the contents of the Log window to a file.
If, instead of typing in a filename, you press Ctrl+Alt+Brk,
a SAS Tasking Manager appears (note that this is not the Windows
Task Manager). The default action of the Tasking Manager is
Cancel Submitted Statements. If you click the OK button, SAS freezes and you have to go to the Windows Task Manager to the Processes tab to kill the SAS.exe process.
