Problem Note 13198: MYSQL engine will not load on Red Hat Enterprise 2.1
When assigning a LIBNAME with the MYSQL engine, you may receive an error
similar to the following:
Could not load /LINUX/sas9.1.3/sasexe/sasmyl (29 images loaded)
Error: /lib/i686/libc.so.6: version 'GLIBC_2.3' not found
(required by /LINUX/sas9.1.3/sasexe/sasmyl)
ERROR: The SAS/ACCESS Interface to MYSQL cannot be loaded.
The SASMYL code appendage could not be loaded.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
Red Hat Enterprise 2.1 (an officially supported Linux platform) does not
support glibc 2.3, and this is the library that SAS linked against. It
only supports linking against glibc 2.2.
