If you set up a campaign or communication and enter text into the outbound data within the Execute Communication screen, and then use the SAS Multi-Threaded Scheduler to run the campaign or communication, the FMT output file associated with the export is incorrect.
For example, if you key the text in the note section of the outbound data as follows:
then the FMT output file will produce extra blank lines as follows:
If you create a FMTTemplate.txt file for the SAS Multi-Threaded Scheduler to use, then the FMT output file creates no line returns at all and is simply a continuous string of text.
This problem does not present itself with the SAS Single Threaded Scheduler.
