Usage Note 12192: Maintenance 2 for SAS Anti-Money Laundering Version 1.2 is now available
Maintenance 2 of SAS Anti-Money Laundering Version 1.2 is now available.
SAS Anti-Money Laundering hot fix 12AM02 is a complete replacement for
SAS Anti-Money Laundering 1.2. It is intended for implementers only. The
main purposes of hot fix 12AM02 are as follows:
* Core in SAS:
This hot fix offers the option of deploying the Core in SAS tables. The
Knowledge Center, or KC, continues to reside in a RDBMS.
* High Priority Fixes:
Because some minor data elements were missing from the 1.2 baseline data
models, some screens in the Investigation user interface may behave
improperly. Hot fix 12AM02 corrects these issues. The full data models
were unaffected.
* 1.2 ETL Deprecated:
Due to site-specific ETL requirements, the generalized ETL process that
shipped with 1.2 has been deprecated.
* Sample ETL Code:
Sample code is provided for dimension, fact, and bridge table
processing. See !AMLROOT/custom/source/sample.
* SAR Batch File Preparation:
Included are routines that prepare SAR batch files for Securities and
Futures SAR (FinCEN Form 101) and Bank/Standard SAR (TD F 90-22.47).
