Problem Note 12592: SAS terminates when there is no Internet connection
If SAS is installed on a machine protected by an Internet firewall
software product such as Norton Internet Security or ZoneAlarm and
all Internet traffic is blocked, SAS terminates when attempting
to start up.
If you respond in the affirmative to the firewall's prompt to allow SAS
to access the Internet, SAS starts properly.
This issue will be fixed in later versions.
