Usage Note 12564: Invalid free attempt to deleted pool errors when running IML processes
When you run SAS/IML (IML) numerous times on a Windows platform under
SAS 9.1, these error messages might appear:
ERROR: Cannot create data set
Invalid free() attempt to deleted pool
Traceback
SASTBTraceBackCtx has been called with a
string ("vacrash") instead of a CONTEXT pointer.
The problem occurs when a disk is badly fragmented and IML attempts
to use memory on the virtual disk and create data sets.
To resolve the problem, defrag the disks where the virtual memory
resides and the data sets reside.
