Usage Note 12465: Apache Web Server installation fails during SAS 9 project installation
When you install Apache 2.0.45 from the SAS Software Navigator, the
following errors might appear at the end of the installation:
(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network
address/port) is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to
address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit.
30...
When you press the <ESC> key or let the timer countdown to 0, the
following error message appears:
[DAY MON DATE HH:MM:SS YEAR] [error] <OS 2>The system cannot find the
file specified. : No installed service named "Apache2".
Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit.

These error messages appear because of another service or process using
port 80. In this case the culprit is due to the IIS Admin running as a
service.
1. To correct this issue, you go to Start>Settings>Control Panel>
Administrative Tools>Services.
IIS Admin is listed as Started and Automatic.
2. Click the link for "Stop the service".
3. Right-click on the "IIS Admin" and change the startup type to
"Manual".
Once this is completed, you can start the Apache setup again and choose
to repair the installation.
