Problem Note 12337: SAS 9.1 components on z/OS fail communication with TCP/IP
SAS 9.1 components on z/OS that fail communication with TCP/IP may
need to apply a hotfix to correct the problem. If after verifying the
following:
- TCP/IP RESOLV.CONF information is not overriding the TCPDATA
information;
- the SAS 9.1 session is picking up the correct TCP/IP TCPDATA file
Run the following code "PROC TCPTEST; RUN;" and issue the TSO command
"NSLOOKUP LOCALHOST". If the function wqshost from the "PROC TCPTEST"
fails and NSLOOKUP can not resolve out "LOCALHOST", then the associated
hotfix needs to be applied.
